Summer Solstice is a beautiful time to be outdoors, visit loved ones, spend time soaking up the vitamin D. It is also a good time for new beginnings- recognizing the change that has been created in our lives.
Whether you are going through a major change, or change has been happening around you, it’s time to notice that life is no longer working the way it used to be. Times- they are a changing, and for many of us it hasn’t been so easy.
This Summer Solstice this year is during a period of profound change. For us that means breaking patterns. It is a time for moving beyond contemplation and becoming more courageous in your choices and actions. Our simple everyday behaviors, and experiences resonate as a whole, affecting each and everyone that surrounds us.. One small change in your life can vibrate the planet in a more positive way. (Yes, I mean conscious eating, living and how we all relate to one another)
No matter where you live or how busy you are, take a moment on Wednesday to go outside, take a deep breath and look around. And if you’re feeling generous, reflect for a moment on how good it is to be able to breathe, to feel the sun on your skin, to exist within a larger whole. After all, you don’t personally make the Sun shine, but you certainly benefit from it. It might be nice to offer up a little “Thank you!”
I thank you
*Summer begins in the Northern Hemisphere on June 20, 2012, at 7:09 P.M
Each year, the timing of the solstice depends on when the Sun reaches its farthest point north of the equator. This occurs annually on June 20 or June 21 in North America, depending on your time zone.
In health and Love,
